As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you’ll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You’ll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
As a member of the Global Platform and Ecosystems (P&E) Device team, you will help grow and cultivate Google’s computing ecosystems (e.g., mobile, health, etc.), leading growth, product advocacy, distribution, and strategic product partnerships with key partners. We work with the P&E Product and Engineering teams to commercialize form factors and devices and ensure users can experience the best of Google internet services and technology.
In this role, you will identify key industry trends, serve as the advocate of partners, identifying distinct opportunities in collaboration with them, and follow through with execution of business development efforts to transform opportunity into action. You’ll lead the full business stack from development of the strategy to onboarding, and rollout programs and initiatives with partners.
You will focus on growing and developing the mobile devices and services ecosystems, and engage with other product areas (e.g., YouTube, Google Play, Google Pay, Google Photos, etc.) to drive distribution and usage of these services.
