  • Experience in advising senior leaders on strategy, organization, and operations topics
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent analytical/quantitative modeling skills
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills

About the job

The Devices and Services Business Development (BD) team designs and delivers commercial, product integration, and content integration deals that help scale adoption and engagement with our products and services.

The Strategy and Operations team works to enable the BD organization by creating and driving a cohesive partner strategy within and across the suite of products (Pixel, Google Nest, Google One, Google Fi, Stadia, etc.) and ensuring alignment of goals and execution. You will derive insights from complex data and inform decision-making. You will help develop plans and recommendations that influence the actions of team members and leaders. In addition, you will drive the implementation of strategic projects and core operational processes. Finally, you’ll effectively execute in cross-functional environments across deadlines, and work across all levels of an organization.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders in the Business Development team to advise and provide day-to-day business strategy and operations support
  • Deliver thought leadership and strategic guidance on specific topics and collaborate with the broader Strategy and Operations team on cross-product strategic topics
  • Create clear, simple, and persuasive narratives to inform and influence senior-level executives across cross-functional teams (Product/Engineering, Sales, Finance, etc.)
  • Drive operational excellence to support execution of the highest priority product-enabling partnership goals, including but not limited to project prioritization, resource planning and allocation, cross-functional coordination, preparing materials for regular executive reviews with Product Management/Engineering, and Global Partnerships leadership teams
  • Partner with the Hardware Business Development leadership team to advise and provide support on key deal strategy topics
