Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, sales operations, investment banking/private equity, or venture capital.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing, communicating, and executing on business insights.
  • Experience analyzing processes, business systems, and operating models to identify actionable improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with deadlines.
  • Ability to lead discussions with cross-functional group to identify issues/solutions.
  • Ability to take initiative and build, productive relationships and work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with excellent business acumen.

The Google Operations Center (GOC) Strategy and Operations team is responsible for leading strategy development, business analytics, operational excellence, and executive reporting for the GOC. The GOC is responsible for providing customer care, technical support, and business enablement for Google products. The Strategy and Operations team provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the company priorities with daily operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into growth initiatives. In this role, you will support efforts through structured problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and program management. You will be responsible for shaping, managing, and executing a project or workstream with our stakeholders, analyzing its results, and presenting insights to executive leaders.

Additional Information

(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $139,000 – $150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

  • Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.


Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term strategies, lead resource management, and drive analytics for operational excellence balancing insights with the long-term goals.
  • Lead and contribute to complex and time-critical projects for executive leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
  • Communicate business insights to executive leadership by preparing presentations and identifying key takeaways.
  • Partner across multiple functions in the organization to drive change.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and analytical thinker and use analysis to inform business outcomes.
