The Agile Occupancy Technology Program Manager role is in the Real Estate Technology team, which acts as the connection point between the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) business and the engineering teams in Real Estate technologies. Through delivery, feedback loops, and tool alignment, this team builds bridges to connect people, processes, technology, and data.
As Google is bringing employees back to the office and adopting new occupancy models, our supporting technology tools for Real Estate need to be adjusted to support our new processes. This role will focus on making foundational changes to our enterprise systems and collaborating with Corporate Engineering and vendor partners to accelerate REWS’ ability to operate flexibly in hybrid modes.
As a Technology Program Manager, you will identify and partner with engineering resources to develop, build, and maintain systems and tools supporting our return to office/hybrid work initiatives. You will manage the customer side of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your product management expertise and outstanding communication skills. You will understand REWS clients strategically by collaborating closely with the Business Analyst team to help clients define their needs, building requirements documentation and user stories. In this role, you will usher projects through the entire project lifecycle by managing project budgets, schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders, planning Googler-facing rollouts, and transitioning products to maintenance mode.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
