Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience as a training business and/or channel manager
- Experience with business development and identifying, recruiting and managing partners to delivering Go-To-Market strategies and results through partners
- Experience with technical cloud technologies
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience launching and then managing a new business unit to achieve business goals
- Experience successfully implementing global business goals and initiatives those in the Americas
- Business acumen with evidence of excellent business planning and a growth and data based approach to partner management and business strategy
- Demonstrated facilitation skills as evidenced through previous partner agreement or similar facilitation
- Comfort with working in a fast growing, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment

The Google Cloud training team already develops and delivers Google Cloud product and solution training for resale and technology partners, end-users and developers, and has plans to grow both the range and reach of the training we offer. While some training is delivered by our internal trainers, we also off our training to be delivered by our network of external training partners.
As the Training Regional Leads you will be responsible for establishing and then managing the local training business. You will be identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and successfully managing training partners across the region(s). You will work to determine which partners best fit our training goals and then work with them to build out clear business plans and goals for their training segments.
Your responsibilities include creating and managing senior executive relationships with existing and new Partners, and offering strategic advice and thought leadership, as well as the day to day management required to grow the Google Cloud training business of our partners. You will manage these partners to mutually agreed plans and ensure that they have the support they need to be successful in scaling up our training efforts.

Responsibilities
- Launch and then run local training business to ensure that our training is achieving business objectives.
- Work with partners to create training business and marketing plans and manage their performance against those plans and against standard training partner metrics. Ensure local training partners are aware of new courses and train the trainer sessions.
- Working with a local marketing team to drive training demand.
- Support Field teams in their training engagements. Work with internal Learning Champions and provide resources/support/advice they need to ensure success. Track against metrics and provide reports and business reviews to key stakeholders.
- Strategize with clients to understand their technical needs, conduct scoping sessions, and make recommendations.
