This role is within the Chrome Trust & Safety team where our goal is to not only to make users safe but also to feel safe while browsing the web. A primary focus of this role will be on usable security, protecting Chrome users from malware, phishing, and other abusive threats on the web.
We’re looking to add designers with hybrid skills to the mix (interaction, visual, motion, prototyping). We need you to partner closely with User Experience Researchers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand platform constraints and envision new opportunities. You will help contribute to how we improve the browsing experience as we navigate a constantly evolving computing environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and define the user experience in Trust & Safety focus areas.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with researchers, product managers, engineers, product analysts, and other designers throughout all stages of the product cycle, from inception through delivery.
- Create design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, mocks, prototypes, and specifications for different desktop and mobile platforms (Linux, Chrome OS, Android, iOS).
- Communicate designs and strategy to both internal and external teams via compelling storytelling. Rationalize and justify design work and be a strong advocate for UX.
- Understand user and business goals and seek to understand product market, competitors, opportunities, and challenges.
