At Google Photos, our mission is to be the home for all your photos and videos, organized and brought to life, so you can share and save what matters. We’re taking all the work out of storing, managing, sharing, and reliving your most cherished memories. We’re working to build a smarter, fairer, more engaging, and reliable gallery of the future, representing the record of your life for generations to come. As the Vice President of Engineering for Google Photos, you will be responsible for the overall success of the engineering organization including our apps and our quickly growing printing and storage businesses.
You will play a key role in setting vision, strategy, and roadmaps that ensure that Google Photos delivers on our mission to “Be a home for all your memories, automatically organized and brought to life, so you can save and share what matters.” You will set and convey a clear technical direction that supports our business goals, driving standards for engineering excellence that lead to us to scale thoughtfully and execute across our roadmaps to ensure trust, safety, privacy, security and high user satisfaction.
