Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in leadership, including team management.
- Experience leading global teams and projects.
- Experience working in product leadership, operations, and/or support.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree.
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate across multiple functions and up and down the organization.
- Ability to create a compelling vision for the future, communicate clearly and authentically, and inspire people to followership while developing a high-performance culture.
- Ability to admit failure, make tough calls, move forward despite ambiguity, and lead/manage an inclusive workplace that maximizes the talents of each person to achieve the vision/mission of the organization.
- Ability to lead complex internal and external stakeholder management/relationships.
- Ability to be a strategic advisor to C-level, VP, and SVP stakeholders.
About the job
The gTech organization provides technical expertise across all Google products to support our global Sales, Business Development and Partnerships teams. We fix any issues on behalf of customers and partners, so that our sales teams can focus on what they do best. We collaborate closely with Google’s engineering groups to create technical solutions that enable our sales organization to help our customers’ businesses grow.
The gTech Users and Products team supports users (end users, partners, small businesses, etc.), primarily for Google’s consumer products. You will have detailed knowledge of our constantly evolving product suite to ensure that user feedback flows to the Product and Engineering teams and fuels innovation and improved User Experience. In this highly cross-functional role, you are the representative of our users, and will problem-solve with the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development and Legal teams. Your leadership will bring together the technical and operational aspects that cut across our product suite to deliver optimal support efficiently and effectively. You will help prioritize and process suggestions, bugs, quality, and other product information to ensure we are constantly improving the partner experience.

Responsibilities
- Partner directly with Product Management and Engineering senior management to gain critical product knowledge and expertise to: deliver a great support experience to our users, understand technical and operational implications of product decisions, influence product support strategies, and effectively close the product feedback loop from our users.
- Lead analysis to assess product impact, influence feature prioritization decisions, and inform product roadmaps; develop and drive global product support strategies.
- Inspire, lead and grow your team, including regular and effective career development, mentorship and performance management.
- Create overall support operations strategy and priorities for your teams, including developing and managing launch/operational support plans for new user-facing products and features, including online help resources, user community, and escalation channels.
- Ensure effective team structure and development of deep cross-functional relationships across the team.
