Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of professional experience, including experience in building and shipping products.
- 5 years of Executive-level Management experience in cross-functional and global engineering organizations, focused in/around the server and data center in Hardware Engineering.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD.
- Experience with successfully delivering large, complex server platform (hardware and software) solutions to the global data center supply chain and customer base.
- Deep server knowledge with Hardware/Software and CPU/GPU accelerated computing experience.
- Dynamic leader with the ability to build and manage a team of hardware, mechanical, electrical and test engineers, setting a vision and inspiring those around them.
- Ability to scale projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Excellent communicator and team player, with broad managerial, critical problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

In this role, you will manage the Platforms System Infrastructure team globally. As the Global Vice President of Hardware Engineering, you will use your business acumen to lead the designing, building and testing of the most reliable customer optimized hardware for Google’s Data Centers. You will manage, grow and partner with a team of experts across Hardware, Systems, Test, Mechanical, Power and Thermal. You will be tasked with setting the vision for our products, working with external partners to drive innovation within this field.

- Manage and directly participate in the design, development qualification, and performance improvements of Google’s products.
- Explore a wide variety of possible solutions to deliver optionality for our range of products (custom, off the shelf, joint design, etc.).
- Deliver cutting-edge hardware products, overseeing relationships with a wide range of external companies to continue to deliver excellent products.
- Lead a global organization into the future, working to support global development of associated products.
- Develop relationships with cross-functional teams and help connect teams to realize opportunities that might otherwise be missed.
