Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media, marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
Experience working with retail or commerce clients or supporting retail/commerce advertising strategies.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in an industry or agency role.
Analytical experience with marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, and statistical analysis.
Client-facing experience influencing across levels and advising on performance improvements.
Familiarity with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
Understanding of Google Shopping, Search, and commerce solutions.

As a Commerce Analytical Lead, you’ll use data-driven insights to help clients achieve their business objectives. You’ll be a trusted advisor to customers and agencies, and help influence our clients’ marketing measurement plans, with a focus on commerce and retail activities. You’ll be a key partner to Google’s Ad Sales teams, who work to bring the best of Google’s advertising solutions to their customers. You will partner with the Agency Commerce team that helps agencies understand how the retail landscape is evolving and how they should grow or develop their Commerce offerings. You’ll use Google internal data, client marketing campaign performance data, and client data to identify trends, opportunities, and marketing strategies that drive growth for clients and Google.

We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
Analyze internal and external data to identify investment opportunities in Search and Google Shopping, anticipate risks, develop solutions to customer marketing challenges, and measure success, within the context of retail/commerce-focused advertising.
Develop relationships with internal and external agency commerce stakeholders and earn their trust to challenge the status quo together by telling stories with data, both visually and verbally.
Advise on marketing analytics, including attribution, lifetime value, customer segmentation, behavior insights, data integration, and measurement.
Lead the full lifecycle of analytics initiatives, from idea to implementation.
Develop insights to drive agency commerce business outcomes.
