Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in one or more of the following: management consulting, strategy, business development, business/finance operations, product management
Experience identifying problems, conducting analysis/research, recommending/creating solutions, and associated presentations/communications
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field
4 years of experience in Management Consulting, Product Strategy, Product Management, Business Development, or Business Operations at or advising a high-growth technology company
Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, features, experiences
Demonstrated problem-solving and analysis skills, ability to navigate ambiguity, and sound business judgment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Google’s Platforms and Ecosystems Product Area develops products that help users around the world access and enjoy the benefits of computing. Our core products – Android, Chrome, and Google Play – span large and diverse ecosystems of component and device manufacturers, software developers, mobile network operators, distributors, retailers, and more. The Android strategy team focuses on the growth and success of the Android platform for users, partners, and Google. Our team solves challenging and complex questions facing Android across product, technology, and business to drive growth and stewardship of the ecosystem. As a member of the team you will play a critical role working on Android initiatives and helping leadership answer the toughest questions we face today, not only about next quarter’s road map, but defining how Android works in the following years. You will influence leadership decisions about the role of our platform, our technologies, the investments we make, the partnerships we pursue, and our commercial agreements, and the future of the Android business model.
Responsibilities
Work with team members and Product Area leaders to identify key technologies will shape computing for the years to come, create product and business road maps, and form strategies to scale core technologies across the ecosystem.
Work with internal and external partners (e.g., OEM, ODMs, SOCs, developers) across multiple form factors (e.g., phones, tablets/foldables, and laptop computers) to build compatible platforms/devices and partnerships to strengthen the Google device ecosystem.
Gather, analyze, and understand research about our markets, users, partners, and products to develop comprehensive, data-backed recommendations organized into easy-to-understand frameworks.
Communicate recommendations via compelling narratives to a cross-functional leadership team.
Guide Product Area teams as they start to implement recommendations, helping new initiatives scale first-hand.
