The Competition Compliance team manages Google’s exposure to regulatory obligations, collusion, and monopolization risk, and implements and oversees a more consistent, scalable, and comprehensive methodology that mitigates risks associated with existing competition binding legal commitments. The team provides the business with the knowledge, tools, and support to effectively identify and mitigate antitrust risk and ensure that Google complies with its competition-related regulatory obligations. The team works closely with the Office of Compliance and Integrity, Product teams, and Internal Audit.
As an Associate Corporate Counsel, you will work on a dynamic team dedicated to overseeing Google’s compliance with its legal and regulatory competition obligations. You’ll partner with other Legal, Product, and Compliance teams in designing and implementing competition compliance programs. You’ll translate legal standards into practical compliance guidelines and work with teams across Google to develop processes that help mitigate compliance risk.

Ensure compliance with Google policies, laws, and regulatory obligations relating to competition.
Perform periodic risk-assessments for different areas of the business.
Provide frequent and effective in-person training on compliance program requirements and/or competition laws.
Provide legal guidance on competition laws and legal obligations to different areas of the business.
Design, implement, and monitor competition compliance programs for each of our legal obligations.
