Preferred qualifications:
Experience with building software tools for debug or audio tuning using Python, MATLAB, etc.
Experience with audio electronic design, acoustic design, and audio component selection.
Experience with audio test measurement systems (e.g., audio precision, head acoustics, etc).
Ability to work separately and with remote team members.

Responsibilities
Evaluate internal and third-party audio algorithms and direct audio algorithm deployment for voice and audio on AR devices, including developing roadmaps for new technologies and features.
Plan audio signal path and algorithm tuning, optimizing for audio performance goals defined with audio test engineering on AR devices.
Perform debug, tuning, and simulation of audio issues relating to voice and audio applications.
Work with algorithm and DSP teams to identify appropriate algorithms for the form factor and features, ensure porting and verification.
Work with firmware teams to ensure driver and software tuning and debug tools are integrated and available for product tuning and debug.
