Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in strategic partnerships
Experience in digital content distribution at a digital platform, sports league or media company
Experience balancing many partners at various stages of complexity and maturity
Management consulting and/or investment banking experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment
Influencing skills working with internal and external stakeholders, including product teams, and engaging with leadership on business issues with limited oversight

Google’s line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google’s newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
The Media and Entertainment (M&E) team partners primarily with the Platforms and Ecosystems (P&E) product area. We’re focused on enabling partners to build innovative content experiences on Android, with particular focus on Android TV and Google TV. As a Business Development Manager on the Partnerships team, you will work directly with a large, diverse portfolio of app partners to drive product integrations across multiple different categories, and discover innovative partners and areas of growth for users and the platform.

Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
Manage a large and diverse portfolio of partners through a “one-to-many ”scaled model, applying various service levels to partners and segments within the category; build strategic growth plans for partners and the overall segment as necessary
Maintain a deep understanding of the Google Play apps platform, including key Google TV product integration requirements and communicate best practices to partners to support the strategic priorities of Google TV
Identify macro and micro trends within the category and markets, translating various signals into business and product strategies; socialize plans with cross functional teams to inform roadmaps, priorities and planning
Develop case studies and lighthouse examples that demonstrate successful partner engagements
Drive, measure, and analyze overall performance against key metrics as well as streamline operational workflows and process improvements
