Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in a quantitative business analysis role.
3 years of experience designing, developing and maintaining SQL scripts, tables, dashboards and working with data sets.
Experience in collaborating on projects involving multiple teams, managing client relationships, and presenting to audiences.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics/Biostatistics, Operations Research, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related subject) or management (MBA or equivalent).
Experience of working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.).
Experience in utilizing analytics to drive complex operational and strategic initiatives for multiple stakeholders.
Ability to craft engaging and compelling narratives in verbal and written communications for customers and executive stakeholders reflecting a nuanced understanding of diverse audiences.

The Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team manages Google’s Extended (contingent) Workforce. The xWS team is responsible for the strategy, governance, and operations across the temp, vendor, and contractor space.
Our team makes it easy for Google managers to engage with the contingent workforce, providing training, standards, and guidelines to increase business value and minimize Google’s risk. We provide processes, tools, know-how, data, and insights to support Googlers through the lifecycle of contingent workforce engagements, so our businesses can make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations in the right way.
As a Business Intelligence Consultant on the Extended Workforce Solutions team, you will support data driven strategic and operational decisions across the organization. You will develop reports, visualizations, and analyses to provide relevant insights to facilitate informed decision making. You’ll be involved in all stages of Business Intelligence life cycle (from analysis, designing, development to delivery), ensuring that your solutions are providing high-quality and relevant information to grow Google’s business and operations efficiently and with minimum risks.
Responsibilities
Create data driven solutions to solve ambiguous, open-ended, and unstructured problems.
Work on data modeling, metric development, data prototyping, and analysis using advanced business intelligence techniques.
Manipulate large data sets to create actionable insights and convert them into cohesive, practical recommendations.
Collaborate across multiple internal stakeholders for clarifying requirements, developing Business Intelligence solutions, and driving usage, while prioritizing deliverables.
Work with executive leadership to create and execute Business Intelligence road map for a process or function.
