In this role, you will lead a team of strategy and operations managers that support Search, Geo, Commerce and Ads (SGCA) Partnerships globally. You will play a critical role in defining and driving strategic projects with executive leaders and will have the opportunity to contribute to business strategy across products and industries, enable operational support for our partnerships teams, and help architect and drive programs that deliver value for Google and our partners. You will lead the team to deliver high-impact partnerships support, reassess priorities, and refine how we support the partnerships team.
The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as “BizOps”, the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. BizOps creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Google’s fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead a high performing team of strategy and operations managers to advise and provide daily strategy and operations support to SGCA and its executive leadership.
Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Drive operational excellence to support execution of the priority product-enabling partnership goals, including project prioritization, resource planning/allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
Lead and influence cross-functional, global teams to achieve business objectives.
Communicate findings to executive leadership with presentations and thoughtful facilitation.
