In this role, you will lead the strategy and operations of a cross-functional team throughout its next phase of growth and transformation with a mission to make Google better, for everyone and at scale.
You will understand Privacy, Safety, and Security (PSS) and each business across Google, influence executive stakeholders, and drive the development of this product area’s strategy. You’ll ensure that PSS remains focused on what matters and decisions are based on the most relevant information. You will also be responsible for managing organizational processes such as yearly and quarterly goal-setting, product reviews, and work with Finance on annual planning. Additionally, you’ll work with the Vice President to ensure our business remains focused on what matters and drives operational effectiveness in the utilization of our resources with a focus towards innovation.
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Vice President and cross-functional leaders, building the multi-year strategy and narrative for the PSS organization. Provide data-informed recommendations to leadership.
Design operating processes and tools to effectively manage the organization and monitor progress of key operating metrics. Ensure alignment of strategy and plans across different Product teams.
Identify issues and critical points of collaboration spanning organizational or functional boundaries, and establish approaches to solve them.
Lead organization-wide, cross-functional project teams to structure and execute analyses and develop executive-level recommendations.
Be a proxy for PSS leadership with cross-functional partners to communicate strategic context and to ensure collaboration and alignment, supporting communication and deliverables for the Board of Directors and Google’s C-level executives.
