Ability to travel up to 40% of the time in the region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities
Knowledge of cloud cost management pricing tactics (Committed Use Discounts, Spot Instances, etc.)
Understanding of business finance (e.g., unit costing, assets depreciation, TCO analysis, financial forecasting, models, financial statements, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

In this role, you will work with Google Cloud customers and advise them to leverage leading practices to design and implement frameworks and processes that provide better financial controls and maximize business values. You’ll utilize expertise in Google Cloud technology and cloud financials management to build scalable, flexible, and customized solutions for our customers. You will be part of a team within the Google Cloud Professional Services Organization (PSO), where we partner with our customers to solve challenges with Google Cloud.
As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of customers as they look to drive their digital transformation through Google Cloud and establish a core set of cloud financials management capabilities to accelerate business values and increase agility. You will play a key part on the Digital Transformation Consulting team, specializing in delivering large-scale cloud Financial Operations transformations. You’ll conduct assessments, deliver workshops to assess current-state cloud financial capabilities, and design cloud financial processes, cost optimizations, planning and forecasting, organizational structures, and cloud financial tooling for the public cloud.

Responsibilities
Be an advisor to customers and solve business and technology challenges in support of better cloud financials management.
Develop cloud usage visibility, providing summaries and detailed cloud billing/usage statistics for resources on Google Cloud Platform.
Support customers in defining their cloud financials management strategy, aligning to business goals and helping them understand cloud costs. Advise customers on approaches to improve all aspects of their cost management and related cloud governance processes.
Create cloud unit metrics and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support and validate Financial Operations recommendations. Assist in following up with the necessary stakeholders.
Support Financial and Billing teams on cloud budgets, financial forecasts, and models.
