Spark at Google is an 18-month Digital Marketing and Sales program where you’ll learn from minds in the industry, gain the sales, marketing, and business skills and experience you need to jumpstart a successful career, and form lifelong connections with Googlers from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
The program begins with six months of foundational and practical training focusing on client relationship building, problem-solving, growth marketing, and digital transformation. Following this onboarding period are two career-building experiences lasting six months each. During these experiences, you’ll work with a portfolio of clients that share a specific business model, such as commerce. You’ll be responsible for a book of business, organize frequent pitch meetings, and become a trusted advisor to clients by using the skills you’ll develop during the program to help them achieve their business goals and grow their Google Ads investment. At the end of the program, you’ll have an opportunity to join one of many advanced sales teams within GCS (Google Customer Solutions).

Each quarter, you’ll work with a collection of diverse small and medium-sized businesses that shape the communities they serve, and empower them to grow their business and reach their goals.

Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by building relationships with key customer decision-makers and business owners to understand their business goals and digital marketing plans, and help empower their business with Google advertising.
Manage a large and diverse accounts and identify opportunities where Google Ads can impact growth while tracking account growth and product adoption quarterly goals.
Conduct frequent phone consultations to evaluate campaign performance, make account recommendations, and mentor/influence business owners on digital marketing strategy.
Engage in essential activities to drive customer relationship growth (e.g., proactive engagement, campaign performance review, client meetings, pitches, research, internal strategy building/execution, etc.).
Participate in continuous training throughout the program to develop professional and business skills.
