Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of analytical work experience in consulting, business intelligence, analytics, or an equivalent analyst position
Experience in SQL and/or Python and HTML
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with data-driven storytelling and data-driven insights
Experience in Compliance Training and Communications
Experience with project management, data visualization tools, and platforms
Knowledge of query and database development
Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and influence others without direct authority
Excellent organization and communication skills, and managing complex projects at an enterprise level

The Google Compliance team makes sure that our business is always consistent with the current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google’s legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. You are thorough in all you do and see to it that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered.

As Compliance Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of designing metrics on the impact and effectiveness of our compliance training and communications program that promotes an ethical and compliant culture across Google.
Responsibilities
Create reporting solutions (e.g. dashboards) for business leaders and Googlers, turning data into an actionable and compelling narrative with visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, tables).
Develop, design, and create data tables and dashboards and use data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports to educate the strategy of the team going forward.
Work with the Chief Compliance Officer and the International team on the creation of reports for different global audiences and circumstances.
Enhance strategies that result in delivery of engaging education and awareness through blended learning (e.g., classroom, virtual, in-person, embedded tools/chatbots) to impart compliance and ethics knowledge, and awareness across different product areas and audiences.
