Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in infrastructure planning, navigating the municipal permitting process to deliver infrastructure projects.
Experience working in city jurisdictions, utilities, external stakeholders, and similar agencies.
Ability to produce and deliver executive presentations, produce project status reports, and communicate deliverables to all stakeholders and management.
Ability to take initiative and execute a successful outcome on vertical projects.
Ability to translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives with excellent leadership and strategic skills in prioritizing evolving initiatives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
About the job
As a Development Executive, you will lead the planning, design, and delivery of Google’s vertical office development projects. You will be leading and bringing along teams both internally and externally in navigating all aspects of the development project. The projects will focus on the creation of an experiential work place environment with a particular emphasis on innovation, equity, and place-making. You will coordinate with other teams in the district creation to design and deliver the vertical projects in consideration of the holistic vision of the district.

Our team’s diversified real estate expertise spans asset management, transactions, urban planning and design, entitlements, development, construction management and portfolio management.
Responsibilities
Deliver project specific briefs for each project clearly articulating the project vision, technical solutions, performance and design principles, budgets, schedules, and all other desired outcomes.
Create and manage project financials and schedules.
Manage internal communication and collaboration across Google stakeholders, through reporting on updates to outcomes, small working sessions, larger design workshops, senior leadership design reviews, and weekly team coordination.
Coordinate with the master plan team on the creation of “place-making” at the vertical and district systems projects.
Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion efforts on both projects working closely with the social infrastructure team.
