About the job
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google’s key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
The Digitization Operations Team supports innovative products like Google’s Book Search project, and other scanning initiatives for Cultural Institute, YouTube, and Google Brain. Specifically, we plan, set up, and manage industrial-scale facilities dedicated to scanning books, and we develop and manage high-volume processes for moving these to and from our scan centers or to and from our partners.
This requires detailed and data-intensive analysis of quality, operations systems, and performance. As a Digitization Operations Manager, you will manage the operational work of a large workforce in our scan centers but also smaller deployments at our partners. You will work on emerging projects that increase the scope of our work.
