Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of professional experience, including 10 years managing analytics teams, leading cross-functionally UX, Product, and Engineering partners, and guiding product planning, prioritization, and strategy development.
Experience in building/managing externally or internally facing metrics.
Experience managing stakeholders at different levels.
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to build, retain, and grow diverse, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams.
Ability to recruit and develop technical talent and to lead through influence and work effectively with technical and cross-functional geographically distributed teams.
Ability to explain complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences in an engaging manner.
An excellent communicator with an ability to present analysis in meaningful ways and engage teams in lively discussions around findings.
Passion for data. Enthusiastic and determined to constantly discover improved tools and techniques to derive insights and value from data.

The Developer Intelligence Team has a mission of creating actionable insights, contextualized data, and tools that improve development and product velocity at Google.
We have a growing engineering organization working on developing the infrastructure behind our insight, and are looking for a leader who can help grow, steer, and execute on building the next generation of this infrastructure. You will be responsible for the data and metrics that drive everything from Google and product understanding and decision making on developer productivity to specific product creation in the Core’s developer pillar.

Responsibilities
Provide technical vision and strategy for this space. Design and lead multi-year technical roadmaps and take full responsibility for planning, overall execution, and success of complex technical projects.
Partner closely with your cross-functional partners in Product Management, Data Analyst, UX, and Technical Program Manager organizations to understand overall needs, develop metrics, and execute on roadmaps.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Google to identify the measures that will drive success for their developers and thereby for their end users.
Develop and grow talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies for key talent in a highly competitive economic environment.
