About the job
As a Director of Engineering for the Training team at Core ML, you will be responsible for leading the ML training team that develops scalable training services like TensorFlow Extended (TFX) and related technologies. You will also lead projects for our training offerings.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. Develop a strategic vision for ML Training.
Lead a growing engineering organization responsible for building the ML training components.
Evolve the strategic direction for the Frameworks and Services organization that is aligned with Core ML objectives.
Lead, develop, and deliver the ML training strategy in alignment with Core ML strategy to build a more diverse, more equitable, and more inclusive organization.
Own and set the strategy, roadmap, and implementation for multiple areas of focus, balancing short and long-term priorities against various business needs.
