Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience managing technical projects within the security and compliance domains in Financial Services, with a specific focus on capital markets.
Public and/or private cloud experience.
Experience leading modernization projects.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience applying technology to solve business problems.
Knowledge of audit, compliance, risk, and security methodologies, and industry best practices.
Understanding of microservices, kubernetes, containers, modern app development, and/or modern cloud operations.
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
Effective presentation skills, with the ability to deliver a polished, professional business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and Board levels.

As a Director within the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will provide independent advice and recommendations to the technical C-suite, CISO, Risk and Compliance officers, while representing the security and compliance voice of Google Cloud. You will maintain and expand Google’s reputation as a completely secure place that everyone can trust for their most sensitive data.
In this role, you will work in private whiteboarding sessions with a CISO, public keynote presentations on emerging security trends and best practices, deep dives with internal engineering teams on the key use cases for a given launch, and/or leading a cross Google technical working team through a critical engagement with a global brand CISO.

Responsibilities
Partner closely with global financial services companies as a trusted Google security and compliance advisor.
Identify cloud-related security and compliance design/development/deployment friction points from the customers’ perspective, and rally teams to work through solutions. Collaborate across functional and product areas to bring the best of Google to the customer.
Work with customers and partners to define joint initiatives and co-create their cloud security and compliance transformation journey.
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required. Tell the Google security and compliance innovation story, and help translate it into actionable steps global companies can take towards adoption
Act as the voice of Google Cloud security and compliance. Act as a coach, mentor, and leader to the wider Google Cloud security and compliance professionals
