Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable shifting viewpoints to discern new insights from the variety of perspectives, and flexibly applying multiple lenses.
Skilled in navigating and building networks of connections within a large organization.
Passionate about effecting change through seeing a larger picture, connecting dots, identifying and dynamically resolving tensions.

In this role, you will lead the portfolio of projects for the Google Coherence Initiative team, starting with 10xSpeed. You will have a deep understanding of modern product development, and the willingness to contemplate novel solutions to seemingly impossible problems.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Responsibilities
Develop a strategy and vision to show that Google can evolve products faster, improving user safety, experience desirability, and product reliability. Collaborate cross-functionally to explore solutions and produce a proposal for exploration and adoption.
Partner with Coherence and Core Experience leads to develop a strategy for and manage a diverse portfolio of Coherence Initiative projects.
Identify strategic areas for Coherence and organize research into structural, organizational, and process roadblocks to coherence. Partner cross-functionally to experiment on remediation strategies and drive adoption of proven best practices across the company.
Lead a team of product managers, software engineers, and designers while influencing large organizations across business units and functions.
Build and foster relationships across Google. Dismantle roadblocks, catalyze and encourage collaboration, and present to senior Google leadership to help them improve effectiveness of their organizations’ strategies.
