About the job
As the Director of Programs and Process within the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) organization, you will lead the Process & Programs team to create, develop, and build out a set of new processes, across the Business Enablement pillar, ensuring that REWS provides clear, consistent, and effective engagement into the Product Areas (PAs).
Sitting within the newly formed Business Enablement function, you will focus on processes that affect Google’s strategic workplace strategy and space initiatives that are driven by the senior leaders in Google’s product areas. To start, you will design the Centre of Excellence of Programs & Process and build a comprehensive support model to enable scalable, repeatable engagements with Google’s PA leaders. You will also create an P&P operating model from a set of first principles that integrates within the current REWS team. Lastly, you will hire and grow the global team to transform the support process for PAs.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

Build a comprehensive team structure and team’s capabilities to deliver impactful change quickly. Recognize leadership potential and support career development of the entire team.
Define and develop business reporting requirements, standards, and bespoke reporting needs for the Business Enablement pillar.

Partner with the Finance team to articulate the definition of unit cost approach, the maintenance of the unit cost source of truth, and client reporting to enable fully informed decision making.
Develop the infrastructure to support the deployment of clear and consistent communications to PAs and users, as well as a communication flow to REWS. Enable Business Partners by supporting complex storytelling to executive level audiences and leveraging extensive data sources
