You will be joining a centralized team dedicated to the long-term health and growth of Google UX. We’re here to make sure Google UX is thriving by identifying pain points and challenges across UX at Google, turning them into opportunities, and solving them.
As Director for UX Community and Culture, you will drive and scale programs aimed at amplifying best practices, developing future-ready UX leaders, building cross-Google connections, and using measurement and insights to ensure UX Community and Culture is delivering business value to UX, Product Areas, and Google.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Represent the needs and opportunities of the global UX discipline at Google.
Work across the UX org, functional partner teams in People Operations, Core, and UX Leadership Council to ensure alignment across the portfolio of UX Community and Culture (UXCC) services.
Identify opportunities and connect the globally distributed community of UX employees and teams, including the UX Directors and VPs, to increase knowledge sharing and peer support.
Lead a geographically distributed team of UX professionals who are diverse in their functions, talents, and areas of expertise.
