About the job
The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We’re focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
Design boards for microLED microdisplay bring up and debugging, as well as work with the test team on microLED verification and ensure the work product is successful.
Perform electrical engineering tasks related to sub-system designs including schematic capture and circuit signal integrity simulations. Work with ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) team on the layout and requirements of PCB (Printable Circuit Board)/Flex.
Create designs on multiple mediums (eg., multi-layer FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits, rigid multi-layer PCB (Printable Circuit Board)).
Participate in test design for microdisplay backplane, microLED FA (Failure Analysis), and microLED characterization.
Bring designs to production line for mass production verification and FA (Failure Analysis) testing.
