About the job
The Developer Experience and Productivity team at YouTube is responsible for scaling YouTube Engineering. It empowers YouTube engineers to deliver better products and services to YouTube users faster and easier. The team builds developer tools and processes throughout the software development lifecycle and across platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for reimagining and improving developer experience and product excellence for all YouTube services (Video Infrastructure, Search and Discovery, Trust and Safety, etc.), from frontend, to middle tier, and backend. You will drive build, test, and release infrastructure for all of YouTube Engineering.

Identify gaps and develop solutions to address them. Contribute to YouTube engineering leadership on YouTube-wide initiatives.
Manage and grow a team of software engineers. Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders and teams within YouTube and across Google.
Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
Develop and grow leadership talent through effective mentoring, succession planning, and retention strategies for key talent in a fast-paced environment.
