In this role, you’ll be responsible for connecting resources across REWS to create amazing environments and experiences for our senior leaders and their extended teams. You’ll facilitate strategic discussions across REWS’ business areas, including real estate, operations, finance, public affairs, and culture. You’ll build trust in difficult situations, get buy-in and consensus from leaders with diverse opinions, drive decision making where trade-offs are required, and keep information circulating so that REWS can grow coherently as Google expands. You’ll bring enthusiasm, dedication, and a collaborative spirit to build and maintain office spaces that facilitate some of the world”s most cutting edge innovation.
As a Facilities Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of facilities services and operations for a large portion of Google’s portfolio. You’ll manage service delivery across functions, departments, and businesses.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
Responsibilities
Be a trusted partner, build strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience.
Communicate strategies to executive management through timely, relevant, thorough, and tailored communication.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Google facilities teams who oversee a vendor partner for Facilities Services or provide program driven strategic direction.
Support individual and team performance, focusing on nurturing future talent and leaders.
