Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 8 years with a relevant advanced degree.
Experience in commercial real estate transactions (e.g., leasing, purchasing, build-2-suit and development, planning, finance and financial modeling, corporate strategy).
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or graduate degree in a business, finance, technical or engineering.
Comprehensive understanding of finance functions, including operations, accounting, processes, risks and controls.
Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to persuade through disciplined use of data.
Developed FP&A skills, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, scenario planning and modeling.

As a Financial Manager for the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), you will lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking, and control processes. You’ll provide executive level management with insightful recommendations, planning, and reporting support.

Responsibilities
Oversee all finance activities for Google’s Global Real Estate organization, encompassing both Operating and Capital Investments.
Lead all Real Estate Finance processes including: Annual and Long-Range Planning, Close and Forecasting cycles and Investor Relations preparation.
Support the development of leadership presentations such as REWS Investment reviews and Audit Committee materials which are presented to Alphabet’s Board of Directors each quarter.
Perform financial analysis and due diligence on all acquisition opportunities, presenting recommendations and ensuring that appropriate ROI metrics are met.
Work with REWS executive leadership to influence Real Estate investment decisions through the development of analytical models.
