Search Product Area (PA) Finance team provides analytical and business planning support to the Search PA and its commercial functions. Our work covers everything from analyzing strategies, initiatives and success of high-profile business areas and early stage development products, to understanding the financial implications of new product launches.
In this role, you will lead the Search Analytics team, providing deep Finance and analytical support for Google Search, with emphasis on leveraging various deep data analytic techniques to uncover insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Partnership, and Marketing, and will play an instrumental role advising leadership on the implications of their strategies, investments and launches, and help them identify the most impactful opportunities to better serve our users.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of analysts focused on bringing the best insights and understanding of search usage trends and drivers.
Provide product and finance leadership with clear insights and recommendations based on analysis and modeling of eg drivers of user metrics, revenue, costs, industry trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical frameworks for understanding and improving business and financial performance.
Apply strong business judgment and a wide variety of analytic tools and techniques to develop a deep understanding of how product launches translate to user behavior, business opportunity and financial outcomes.
