Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a related function.
Experience in financial modeling and financial analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with financial modeling for commercial agreements.
Experience and recognition from being a good collaborator.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Comfortable with ambiguity and change to help enable complex agreements.
Comfortable in partnering with business development teams.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
Strategic Partnerships falls within the greater Capital Allocation and Planning organization, which provides intelligent insights to optimize Google’s trajectory, glue together the various parts of Finance, and craft the big picture story for executives.
We lead strategic system initiatives and deliver rich, insightful data for decision-making.
You will drive the financial analytics for strategic partnerships spanning multiple products. You will get to work closely with business development and finance teams to structure agreements. You will be exposed to multiple Google products and gain insights into the economics of multiple Google businesses.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
Drive financial analytics and modeling for select strategic partnerships spanning often multiple product areas (e.g. Google Cloud, YouTube, Google Ads, Android, etc.).
Partner directly with business development teams driving partnerships.
Help define Google Finance’s cross-Product Area agreement principles to support good for Google, ensuring holistic, central analyses and point of view.
Collaborate with multiple finance teams to develop a finance point of view for each commercial agreement.
Partner with Global Partnerships Strategy teams to better enable partnerships through smoother engagement models and creation of archetypes.
