Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of program management experience, hospitality and/or event management experience, in an event facilities operations or program management role with emphasis on hospitality, event facilities management, corporate services, or event operations.
Leadership capabilities in a hotel, event center, or a corporate event environment.
Strong AV and Food/Catering knowledge.
Clear understanding and background in event space management.
Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direct supervision while managing day to day activities.

The Global Events Team is responsible for supporting, consulting, and delivering experiential events to Googlers and their customers so they may thrive through learning, collaboration, and social interaction. With many event spaces globally hosting events on an annual basis, the team works with a variety of vendors to provide great service, impeccable AV production and event consultancy and support.
The Events Program Manager will oversee events across Google’s Americas offices ensuring all events are coordinated and executed by the respective teams to exceed the expectations of each Google client and their guests. They will exude hospitality and inspire the events team to deliver a seamless event planning, execution, and post event follow up for each and every Google client. Additionally, they will be responsible for event operations, program management, financial management, and overall client management across the region.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
Responsibilities
Implement and evolve global event processes, guidelines and standards for coordination of the Global Event Program’s strategy, deliverables and initiatives in conjunction with Facilities Management, AV Production, Security, Transportation, Event Catering and the entire Global Programs team.
Coordinate build and manage all services, service providers (vendor partners) and each event delivery team (Event Catering, Event Production, Security, Transportation, AV Engineering, Corp. Engineering) involved in all aspects of event program operations with the goal of delivering amazing event experiences.
Be the main point of contact for any issues and troubleshoot service request escalations.
Gather relevant data to identify and evaluate potential risks and service deficiencies within the event services operations while implementing process improvement strategies and ongoing compliance with the Google global event service policies, procedures and standards.
