Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years work experience in a partner-facing role at a technology company, start-up, or equivalent work experience
Experience working in strategic partner development, business strategy, deal advisory and execution.
MBA, JD or Master’s degree.
Experience working with TV platform developers related to premium video content distribution.
Ability to prioritize through analytical ability, making strong commercial choices when multiple options are available.
Ability to operate and influence in a complex matrix organization balancing competing priorities.
Demonstrated passion for the Media and Entertainment content industry and a perspective on its future evolution.
About the job
The Google TV content monetization team is a new team within the Platforms and Ecosystems Media and Entertainment content partnerships team. We are responsible for leading the development, marketing, and executing monetization-focused content programs in line with strategic growth initiatives. As we build out a global Google TV organization, we are bringing all the commercial programs under one team to ensure efficiency, consistency, and transparency across agreement making and partner program management. The goal is to help build a sustainable TV business and innovate Google TV business models with our content partners.
You’ll become an expert at delivering commercial success of Google TV. You have the ability to demonstrate and develop entrepreneurial mind-set by creating programs in which innovation can flourish. You’ll work cross-functionally in a matrix partnerships organization and collaborate with colleagues across function, region and product areas.

Work with business development to implement monetization strategy including developing plans for key partners.
Manage existing content programs and help build out new commercial content programs.
Develop and maintain an expert understanding of Google TV and related monetization product strategies and the digital Media and Entertainment content landscape in the region.
Partner with Business Development, Product, Strategy and cross-functional teams to advance a unified monetization strategy.
Identify and evaluate potential new business model opportunities globally, including building business cases as required to assess commercial value, and giving consideration to important product and partner priorities and platform-level concerns.
