The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
In this role, you will provide business insights to our internal stakeholders on the Play Partnerships team to enable them to run the global Play business. We partner with programs and operations teams to enable success of both third-party apps and games developers and Google’s own products within Play and Android.
As a Head of Analytics, you will be working with multiple stakeholders across Play to deliver insightful data and analysis. You will serve as an analytics expert for our partners, using numbers to help them make better selections. As a manager, you will help others navigate career growth and mentor team members on growing their technical and business skills.

Responsibilities
Drive analysis for Play Partnerships Strategy and Operations team, focusing on generating data signals and insights to enable success of the global partnerships team.
Hire, mentor, and manage a team of analysts. Contribute to project scoping, manage project priorities, and allocate resources within the project, informing and escalating appropriately when external factors impact execution.
Act as a thought partner to produce insights and metrics for various technical and business stakeholders across Play.
Own relationships, particularly with members of partnering business and product teams.
Develop and automate reports, iteratively build, and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale.
