Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in negotiation and partner management in the Media and Entertainment industry.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with product, engineering, and/or technical teams.
- Experience balancing many partners at various stages of complexity and maturity.
- Experience in the digital/OTT ecosystem.
- Ability to lead and influence in a complex matrix organization and balance competing priorities.
- Ability to grow in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment.

Google’s Global Partnerships team powers extraordinary user experiences through partnerships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Google’s goals. The Global Media and Entertainment team partners primarily with the Platforms and Ecosystems (P&E) product area. The Global Partnerships team within P&E is focused on enabling leading global media and entertainment partners to build innovative content experiences on Android, Chrome and Play, with particular focus on Google TV/Living Room. We also work very closely with our teams within Google that engage on media, such as YouTube, Devices and Services, Search/Assistant, and others.
As Head of Partnerships, you will work directly with a portfolio of content apps that are developing over-the-top (OTT) services within Google’s ecosystem. You will develop tailored strategies to advance partner and platform goals. You will lead these partner conversations with cross-product area teams and facilitate a unified One Google approach. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and manage strategic content and product partnerships across the TV vertical, for Google TV and more broadly within Media and Entertainment for the P&E organization.
- Structure and negotiate innovative strategic partnerships and deals, working directly with C-level executives and partnering across Google.
- Track progress and lead business reviews with partners and offer a strategic and analytical perspective of the partnership, identifying areas for improvement and growth. Identify and scope out new partnership opportunities and work across Google with other Product Areas to structure and execute cross-Google business initiatives that drive value.
- Manage complex discussion with partners and act as a thought leader who can help all parties maintain focus and execute on overall objectives. Forecast and report business growth, activations, and other key metrics.
- Build out and manage a high performing team.
