Ability to keep up with industry trends on the API management, no-code app development, and automation landscape, with a focus on latest update on competitor’s progress and the newest innovations.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment. with attention to detail and accuracy.
About the job
In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to lead the communications of our latest platform solutions to customers and prospects for Google Cloud. You will drive marketing programs for our Business Application Platform offerings specifically around our lead products in API Management (Apigee), no-code app development (AppSheet), Automation, and related solutions. You’ll also directly manage a team of Business Application Platform Product Marketing Managers, who define the end-to-end, go-to-market strategy, own messaging and positioning, and orchestrate marketing execution.
Equipped with a strong technical aptitude, leadership skills, and business acumen, you’re able to analyze and diagnose complex technical and business challenges, formulate a solutions marketing strategy, and influence go-to-market investment areas. You are also able to generate high-impact ideas and synthesize complex product capabilities into succinct customer benefits. Lastly, you are resourceful, with the ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive them to completion.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of core Product Marketing Managers and drive the overall marketing strategy and execution for Business Application Platform solutions (e.g., Apigee, AppSheet, Automation). Partner closely with the Product Managers, Sales, and partner teams to create a comprehensive strategy and global marketing plan.
Develop messaging and marketing initiatives that align with the different types of buyers/users of our cloud products and solutions (e.g., CIOs, business buyers, developers).
Work with the product teams to promote launches and ensure that current and new products are positioned effectively in the market.
Collaborate with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field teams, events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives.
Oversee outcomes, metrics, and reporting with internal and external partners, and develop strategies and content for Google Cloud executives.
