Ability to analyze research or performance data, develop insights and apply the insight to optimize marketing activities, and utilize consumer insights and data to improve the customer experience
Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally across all levels of management, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with ability to nurture creativity and drive operational process and discipline
Passion for consumers and consumer experiences

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Whether you’re on a consumer product or a business product, you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications, you help shape the goals of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across business, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering, and more. This role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end, and form a future marketing strategy.

Responsibilities
Define the strategy to drive consumer adoption for each of Google Play’s key product platforms, including working internally to introduce Google Play to existing consumers.
Help tell the story of how Google Play helps developers grow their businesses and how Google Play keeps consumers safe to policy-makers and key opinion formers globally.
Manage a team of marketers who execute the marketing strategy.
Seek consumer insights to inform product and marketing strategy and advocate for consumers across marketing, product, and partners.
Help drive every facet of the product’s journey, including driving consumer insights, analysis, product positioning, naming, objectives and metrics, launch and marketing strategy, and lifecycle management.
