About the job
The Benefits Child Care team is a pioneer in the world of childhood development. As a member of this team, you’ll strive to instill the same love of learning and creativity in the minds of Googlers’ children as can be found among the Googlers we hire. In the unique educational environment of Google’s children’s centers, you’ll work with both your team and Google parents to continually develop and improve our Employee Child Development program to meet the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of children ages 3 months through 5 years. You’re passionate about each child’s personal growth and open to new and innovative methods of teaching, and are familiar with family-focused education that integrates play-based philosophies into the curriculum.
You motivate and support the teaching staff, directing the development and implementation of early childhood education programs. You also oversee financial, staffing and compliance tasks at the children’s centers.
In this role you’ll strive to instill the same love of learning, creativity, and justice in the minds of Googlers’ children. You’ll work with your team and Google parents (and their non-Google partners/spouses) to continually develop and improve our program to meet the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs of children ages three months through five years.
As Head of the Google Children’s Center, you will be passionate about each child’s personal growth and open to new and innovative methods of teaching and learning. You will motivate, support, and partner with the Google Children’s Center (GCC) leadership team and teaching staff, directing the development and implementation of GCC’s early childhood education programs.
Great just isn’t good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as “Human Resources”). We bring the world’s most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field. You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.
