As a Human Factors Researcher, you will set the research strategy affecting original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and hardware/software roadmaps. You will be working alongside leadership, product managers, designers, and engineering in daily aspects of product ideation, definition, design, launch, and beyond. Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and task analysis to collect differing data to research the interaction between humans and products.
Utilize human engineering tools and methods (e.g., physical ergonomics, anthropometry, biomechanics, usability evaluation, statistical techniques, task/workload analysis).
Collaborate with product, design, quantitative research, and engineering to solve problems, influence product/design direction, and prioritize user experience research questions in line with overall product strategy.
Inspire change at all stages of product development by delivering exciting verbal, written, and visual presentations.
Identify opportunities for research and strategy and execute on them; use data to set specs for system performance.
