About the job
The Image Sensor and EE Camera team focuses on design and evaluation of camera systems for Google’s consumer hardware. We explore imaging sensors, cameray system hardware, and applications to help bring the best of Google’s photography experience to our customers. We partner with Technical Engineering, as well as cross-functionally with the Android Software and Augmented Perception teams to bring immersive imaging features to Google products.
As an Image Sensor Engineer, you will contribute to exploring various image sensors, camera systems, and applications for consumer hardware. In this role, you will partner with hardware and silicon development teams to develop image sensor technology, and bring Google’s imaging innovation to the world.
Responsibilities
Support sensor requirements definition, selection, and integration of image sensors into product camera modules.
Work with image sensors, semi-custom sensors, and advanced sensor technologies.
Translate system requirements to sensor specifications and identify optimal solutions for each product in Pixel.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure excellent imaging architecture and integration of image sensors into the product.
Lead and partner with internal/external partners to develop sensor solutions to meet sensor needs, and partner with vendors to align and influence the sensor roadmap.
