Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in sales with 6 years of experience in management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Experience leading brand-focused sales and subject matter expert with brand products and understanding of programmatic.
- Experience in a media sales environment.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment and to influence/communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels and geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally, and support clients in multiple locations with global travel as needed.
- Established relationships and presence within the digital and media sector.

As Industry Director, Food, Beverages, and Restaurants, you will lead an organization of consulting for brand marketers. You will drive a business for Americas Large Customer Sales (LCS) and be a contributor to global Video and Programmatic business growth.
You will be responsible for Google’s customer relationships with Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) of packaged goods and restaurant companies. You will also works closely with leaders of our engineering and product teams.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We’re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategy for driving ad business with all advertisers in the category on a national level.
- Create and execute business growth strategies, account plans, and business processes for assigned list of key accounts. Establish and grow C-level relationships with advertisers.
- Hire, train, and mentor an industry-leading sales and service team to provide consultative marketing solutions to advertisers.
- Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google’s products and services. Ensure full compliance to Google standards, policies, and best practices.
