Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of combined experience in advertising/marketing, brand management, and/or advertising sales, including experience in digital media and platforms.
6 years of sales management experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience establishing, managing, and maintaining C-suite customer relationships.
Experience leading brand-focused sales and performance products.
Solid understanding of programmatic.
Industry expertise and relationships in the Tech B2B sector.
Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment and the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
Ability to establish strong cross-functional, global relationships throughout the organization, and support clients in multiple locations.

As the Industry Director for Tech Business-to-Business (B2B), you will lead a team of sales professionals. You will drive a vital, fast-growing business for the Americas’ Large Customer Sales group, and under your leadership, the team will develop and manage deep, complex customer relationships. Externally, you will be responsible for growing and stewarding Google’s customer relationships with Chief Marketing Officers of some of the largest tech companies and distributors in the US. Internally, you will work closely with product leaders influencing cross-functional stakeholders and teams towards optimal solutions for our customers.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We’re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategy to drive ad business with all advertisers in the industry on a national level.
Develop and scale a multi-million dollar business.
Create and execute business growth strategies, account plans and business processes for an assigned list of key accounts; establish and cultivate C-level relationships with advertisers in your vertical.
Hire, train, and mentor a sales and service team to provide consultative marketing solutions to advertisers.
Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google’s products and services, ensuring full compliance to Google standards, policies, and best practices.
