This role will be remote until October 2022 or when the Google office in Pune opens, (whichever is earlier). After this, you will be required to work from the Google Pune office.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing client-facing projects to completion.
- Experience working with engineering teams, sales, services, and customers.
- Experience troubleshooting clients’ technical issues.
Preferred qualifications:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification.
- Experience refactoring legacy monolithic applications to microservices, APIs, and/or serverless models.
- Experience with unit or automated testing tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Experience with software development in Java, C++, or C, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Excellent communication, written, presentation, and problem solving skills.

As an Industry Specialist, you will work directly with Google’s customers on critical projects to provide management, consulting, and technical advisory to customer engagements while working with client executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google’s Cloud Platform.
In this role, you will work closely with Google’s partners servicing customer accounts to manage projects, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best practice expertise.

Responsibilities
- Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud industry solutions by becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
- Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
- Advocate for customer’s needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on field experience.
- Maintain highest levels of development practices (e.g., technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution), writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code with repeatable quality and predictability.
- Recommended approaches and estimated effort for solution implementation.
