About the job
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help our customers and partners deploy, configure, manage, monitor, and automate their data center infrastructure, including hardware, OS, virtualization layer, networking, storage, and surrounding automation and developer operations systems. You’ll manage the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the data center infrastructure from requirements to operations by ensuring that the entire life cycle of the infrastructure is executed in a programmatic and continuous manner.

Responsibilities
Recommend and develop integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and operations models required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Distributed Cloud Hosted.
Lead cross-functional projects and teams by working with technical stakeholders across the organization to develop and deliver sustainable infrastructure operations, with increasing levels of automation, resiliency, and security.
Identify gaps and propose changes to existing policy, systems, technical, and operations process frameworks. Develop scalable solutions, work to manage risks across the organization, and develop best practices that are beneficial across the organization.
Act as a technical advisor and an escalation point for troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
Drive recommendations to executive leadership at all stages of organizational development and execution. Create and deliver best practices, recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
