Minimum qualifications:
5 years of relevant experience with data analysis.
Experience coaching and mentoring.
Experience with SQL and relational databases, including queries and database definition.
Preferred qualifications:
People management experience in a technical environment.
Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C++, Ruby or Perl) or in a language for statistical computing (R, SAS, Stata).
Experience leading cross-functional projects across organizational boundaries.
Project management experience including implementing process improvements, prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
Experience in working with abuse, spam, fraud or malware.
Ability to present clear solutions with excellent attention to detail and great communication skills; collaboration skills, and the ability to work with minimal guidance in a dynamic environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed – with urgency. As a Manager in the Trust and Safety team, you will be responsible for protecting Google and its users by fighting abuse and badness on a wide range of structured and semi-structured Search features. You will ensure trust and reputation not only for this product, but also for Google as a broader brand and company. You will work globally and cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders through effective relationship building, influencing and communication.

Responsibilities
Manage a team of Trust and Safety analysts, coaching them and providing career development/mentorship.
Lead projects and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with senior stakeholders from Engineering, Legal, Product teams and more.
Create a long-term strategy for the area of the business you’ll manage and bring your vision to reality with the help of your team.
Become the go-to person for issues related to the area of the business you’ll manage and use your domain knowledge to provide partners with insights and analyses.
