Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Engineering is responsible for developing tools and applications to support GCS in its engagement with Google’s advertising customers.
In this role, you will work on a small team with outsized business impact. As part of the team you will exercise a high degree of flexibility and autonomy in the systems built. The systems vary in scope and duration, with some small enough to be built by a single engineer over the course of a few months, and others requiring more engineers and multiple years of engineering effort.
Define and execute the engineering strategy for staffing (mapping sellers to portfolios) and assignments (mapping clients to portfolios) tooling for the GCS business
Support rapid business changes in staffing and assignment tooling by working closely with product and business partners
Mentor the broader engineering team by promoting new technical best practices, reviewing designs, and building processes
Build, develop, and manage teams of Web Solutions Engineers, including managing executive individual contributors and managers
