Minimum qualifications:

5 years of experience in Software development or Test Engineering.
Experience working with server or network hardware.

Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with Linux or Windows operating systems and Bash scripting.
Experience with cloud platform software development.
Experience working in software development teams.
Experience in testing products with Contract Manufacturer, Original Device Manufacturer (ODM), Joint Design Manufacturer (JDM) or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) partners.
About the job
As a Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for providing ongoing software development support for external manufacturing partners and internal Google test development teams. In this role, you will develop Python based hardware test solutions within Google manufacturing test platform, manage the overall health of test infrastructure, and deploy test platform changes to our manufacturing sites globally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$193,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Drive test change to improve product quality in cross-functional teams to define test specifications for data center products.
Develop and modify Python test scripts based on test specifications.
Collaborate with teams to improve cost, coverage, and quality for Google manufacturing test systems.
Perform root cause analysis of system test failures and implement corrective or preventive actions.
Set up Linux or Window based test stations and collaborate with internal engineers and partner engineers to drive test improvement.
